How to Build onto Your Contact List

Here are a few ideas to get people to sign up to your Contact List.
- Place the sign-up form on your homepage - put it so it is visible - if they have to scroll down - they may not see it. Make sure the contact form is simple and attractive - if it looks too busy - people won't fill it in.
- Have sign-up forms on nearly every page of your website.
- Provide them a rationale - explain the benefits of subscribing - what's in it for them?
- Offer an incentive, like a free e-books, discount coupons or the promise of on-line ONLY specials.
- Send to a Friend - in your newsletter ask readers to send it on to their friends using a link. Encourage use of the "send to a friend".
